Tal y como os contábamos la semana pasada, Smart Design nos propuso impartir un workshop para un grupo de diseñadores del mundo del automóvil. Así que el jueves día 3 los recibimos en nuestro atelier.
Antes que nada les hizimos una pequeña presentación para que conocieran Deux Souliers y nuestro proceso de creación.
As we told you the last week, Smart Design asked us for doing a workshop for a group of car designers. The Thursday 3rd we recived them to our Atelier.
First of all we explained them about Deux Souliers and our process of creation.
Seguidamente empezamos a trabajar con el material que les teníamos preparado para que pudieran tener un primer contacto con el mundo del calzado. El objetivo era lograr montar un prototipo de sandalia femenina y que pudieran entender el proceso de montado de un zapato artesanal.
Next we started to work with the materials we had prepared to have a first contact with the world of shoes. The objective was to do a handmade prototype of female sandal and to understand the process mounted of an artisanal shoe.
Pieles blandas de distintos colores, hebillas, pequeñas tachuelas, tiras de cuero y una misma construcción era el punto de partida para empezar el curiosos reto que se propusieron estos profesionales.
Soft leathers of different colours, buckles, little tacks, leather strips and the same construccion was the starting point.
Nuestras pautas: dibujar sus ideas sobre las hormas forradas, que serán el volumen final que tendrá el zapato. Luego trasladar todo esto a los materiales definitivos. Y para acabar coser las pieles, unir las piezas, y añadir diferentes fornituras para darle su toque personal.
Our guidelines: drawing their ideas on the last, that will be the final volume of the shoe. Then we moved this to the definitive materials. And to finish, hand stitched the leather, joined the pieces and added the different findings to give the personal insight.
Fueron mas que interesantes las sinergias creadas entre diseñadores del mundo automovilístico y del calzado, poniendo en común reflexiones desde diferentes perspectivas.
The different synergies created among car designers and shoe designers were very interesting, gathering ideas from different points of view.
